DAHLGREN, Va. (June 15, 2017) - Navy engineer Jonathan Crook briefs visitors about SCAPEGOAT chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) detection system components during a demonstration. SCAPEGOAT was designed, prototyped, and tested over a six-month period by a team of junior scientists and engineers engaged in the Sly Fox Program at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. With its relatively low cost and modular interfaces, the SCAPEGOAT system demonstrates the use of emerging technology in meeting warfighter needs.
