2016 NSWCDD Honorary Awards

DAHLGREN, Va. - The Ground Based Air Defense on the Move Team is pictured prior to receiving the Award of Merit for Group Achievement from Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) leadership at the command's annual honor awards ceremony on May 17, 2017. The team was recognized for their significant progress towards the deployment of a High Energy Laser system to the USMC. "The recent end-to-end negation of threat representative unmanned aircraft system at the White Sands Missile Range High Energy Laser System Test Facility is a significant event culminating five years of work on this Office of Naval Research sponsored Future Naval Capability," according to the citation. The team members are Frank Albert, Jonathan Curley, Koleanna Hart, Matthew Henning, Jorge Hernandez, Jonathan Scroggins, Cassandra Staples, Justin Webber, Eric Wheater, Lin Zheng, Christopher Davidson, Michael Lent, Mark Manzano, Aaron Banerjee, Rani Kady, Jason Goosman, and Austin Pritchett.
