(March 27) - Dr. Marty Irvine – Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Readiness and Training System Department Head – gives his keynote speech about NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity at the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Luncheon and Industry Day event sponsored by the Hampton Roads Chapter of AFCEA. Irvine’s brief included the Readiness and Training System Department’s mission, vision, core competencies, and future contract opportunities. Kris Parker, NSWCDD deputy for small business, provided an overview of NSWCDD small business programs and activities. NSWCDD has won many awards over the years for exceptional small business performance. AFCEA International, established in 1946, is a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry and academia as a forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, information technology, intelligence and security.
