The 2018 Invention Convention, hosted April 28, 2018, was the product of an education partnership agreement signed by Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Bay District Schools, Florida State University and Gulf Coast State College. Pictured here, from left to right, is BDS Board Member Ginger Littleton, GCSC Vice President for Strategic Initiatives Glen McDonald, NSWC PCD Technical Director Ed Stewart (SES), FSU PC Dean Randy Hanna, and NSWC PCD Commanding Officer Capt. Aaron Peters, USN. The 2018 Invention Convention featured a science fair for middle school to college students and technical capabilities, such as SEAL Delivery Vehicles, underwater unmanned vehicles, unmanned aviation systems and Navy diving technologies, presently being fielded at NSWC PCD.
