USS Idaho (SSN 799)

GROTON, Conn. – The U.S. Navy accepted delivery of the Submarine Force’s newest fast attack submarine, the future USS Idaho (SSN 799), from General Dynamics Electric Boat Dec. 15, 2025. This marks the second delivery of a Virginia-class fast attack submarine this year.

GARDEN ISLAND, HMAS Stirling, Western Australia, Australia (October 29, 2025) – USS VERMONT (SSN 792) arrives at HMAS Stirling, Western Australia on Oct. 29, as part of a scheduled port visit before a planned submarine maintenance period (SMP).
