More than goals... Small Business Solutions of Choice
The Carderock Division Deputy for Small Business Programs serves as the principal advisor and assistant to the Division’s Commanding Officer in directing and implementing our Small Business Program. Our Mission:
"To create and deliver small business options for the warfare center."
It is the policy of the Government to provide maximum practicable opportunities in its acquisitions to small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns.
Small Businesses seeking procurement opportunities with NSWC Carderock Division and other Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) warfare centers are encouraged to visit the Warfare Centers' Small Business Web Site. On this site small businesses can create profiles of their capabilities to support requirements specific to warfare centers. Information on this site is available to government customers seeking new and competitive small business sources and to large businesses searching for subcontractors.
The Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) have adopted an integrated approach to contracting for support services. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized means of issuing competitive solicitations amongst a large & diverse community of approved contractors, as well as a platform for awarding & managing performance-based task orders. SeaPort-e provides a faster, better, & more cost-effective means of contracting for professional support services.
