Michael T. Guerrieri

Deputy, AEGIS Technical Representative

Mr. Michael Guerrieri serves as the Deputy for the U.S. Navy AEGIS Technical Representative (TECHREP) under US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).  In this role he oversees a work portfolio of more than $3B dollars that includes simultaneous large-scale engineering development, integration and test, and production and maintenance contracts involving different complex combat system baseline configurations for AEGIS Cruiser/Destroyer, Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), and foreign military sales of the AEGIS Combat System. These systems are the Navy's most advanced and complex weapons systems.

 

Mr. Guerrieri joined AEGIS TECHREP in July 2017. Prior to this assignment, he served the U.S. Army Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) for 12 years in various systems engineering and information technology capacities. He most recently served as the LMP Technical Management Division Chief, overseeing five technical branches in the areas of Systems Engineering, Test & Evaluation, Infrastructure & Interfaces, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Migration, and Information Assurance/Cybersecurity. He also served in the key leadership positions as the LMP Lead Systems Engineer and LMP Lead Developmental Tester.  Prior to joining the LMP, he held various positions with the Army Joint Computer-aided Acquisition and Logistics Support System (JCALS), including Lead Computer Engineer and Chief of the Systems Engineering Division. He also served as a Computer/Software Engineer for the Defense Contract Management Command (DCMC) in Philadelphia, PA.


Mr. Guerrieri is an Army Acquisition Corps member, certified Level III in Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering - Systems Engineering, Level III in Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering - Project Systems Engineering, Level III in Test and Evaluation, Level II in Program Management, and Level I in Information Technology.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has received numerous awards and commendations throughout his career, including three separate Achievement Medals for Civilian Service (2016, 2011(2)), Commander's Award for Civilian Service (2010) and a Superior Civilian Service Award (2017).
