Senior Chief Kyle T. Loftin hails from Ames, Iowa, and entered the U.S. Navy in July 2004 as a Fire Controlman (Aegis).
Loftin's sea duty assignments include: USS Momsen (DDG 92), USS Kidd (DDG 100), and USS Sampson (DDG 102).
His shore duty assignments include: Aegis Training Readiness Center Dahlgren, Virginia; and Afloat Training Group Pacific, San Diego.
Throughout his career, he has completed multiple at-sea deployments in the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Seventh Fleet areas of responsibilities.
He was selected for the Command Senior Chief Program in 2024, and currently serves at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility Detachment Everett, Washington.
Loftin is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 241 (Gold) and CMC/COB Course Class 24080.
Loftin is qualified as an Enlisted Surface and Aviation Warfare Specialist.
His awards include multiple Navy Commendation Medals, Navy Achievement Medals, Sea Service Deployment ribbons and other various personal, service, unit, and campaign awards.
