PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Dec. 7, 2021) - Carol Sowar waits to lay rose petals at a memorial marker for her uncles, Harold and William Trapp, two Sailors who died when the USS Oklahoma was torpedoed and sunk. Sowar, along with more than 200 visitors paid their respects to the fallen during the 2021 USS Oklahoma (BB-37) Memorial Ceremony which was held on the 80th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
