NEWPORT, R.I. —
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport will host a job fair for entry-level and experienced scientists, engineers, mathematicians, physicists and information technology (IT) specialists in information security. The job fair will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in NUWC’s building 80 outside its main gate (Gate 23) at 80 Pier Access Road, Newport.
The job fair offers the potential for both on-site interviews and job offers.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or physics. NUWC is seeking people to work in information technology. Candidates may also be eligible based on experience.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens, be capable of obtaining and maintaining a security clearance, and males must be registered for Selective Service. They should bring several copies of their resumes and transcript (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).

NUWC Division Newport, part of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), is one of two divisions of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center. NUWC Division Newport’s mission is to provide research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, undersea offensive and defensive weapons systems, and countermeasures. NUWC’s other division is located in Keyport, Washington.
