Warren C. Clare Visits NSWC Corona
Elvis Acosta (2019 STEM Hero), Performance Assessment Department Head, leads more than 350 scientists, engineers, mathematicians and computer scientists in combat systems test and evaluation for multiple agencies and sponsors, providing data collection, transfer and storage; rapid analysis reporting; fleet-training feedback and assessment products. He is the first Hispanic to serve as a technical department head and test and evaluation director at NSWC Corona.
Sarah Reyes (Most Promising Engineer – Bachelor), Quality Engineer, conducts Technical Program Management evaluations for highly complex and critical projects, performs evaluations, develops and reviews TPM/quality documentation, and provides analysis of overall TPM functions. She began her career at NSWC Corona as a Pathways student intern and received a HENAAC US Navy STEM scholarship as a student at Cal Poly Pomona.
