Godfrey 'Gus' Weekes presents NSWCDD senior engineer Jose Lugo with a certificate recognizing Lugo's 30 years of government service before military, government civilians, and defense contractors celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at the Naval Support Facility Dahlgren theater. "As we celebrate this Heritage Month, I want you all to remember that in order to shape the bright future of America, each one of us has to be a point of light," Lugo told the audience after receiving his certificate. "We have to brighten the day of everybody around us and we have to inspire those who follow us, and in doing so we will improve our future." At this year's event, personnel from NSF Dahlgren and tenant commands gathered at the base theater to join the Navy and nation while celebrating and reflecting on the theme "Shaping the Bright Future of America."
