Master Chief J. Scott Fulton

Senior Enlisted Leader, Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center, Naples Italy

Master Chief J. Scott Fulton enlisted in the Navy on August 29, 1996. He attended Technical Core School and ET ‘A’ School at NTC Great Lakes, Illinois. He was selected for advancement to Electronics Technician Chief Petty Officer in 2011, to Senior Chief in 2014 and to Master Chief in 2017. He has qualified as: Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist and Master Training Specialist.

His sea duty assignments include three years forward deployed to 7th Fleet aboard USNS KISKA (AE-35) as an IFF technician, four years aboard USS VELLA GULF (CG-72) as the LCPO of CE Division and three years aboard USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN-76) as the Combat Systems Maintenance Manager and his current assignment as the Senior Enlisted Leader at the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center in Naples Italy. 

His previous shore assignments include two years with NATO working at COMSUBSOUTH in Naples, Italy, as a VLF broadcast technician and LAN administrator, three years at CSCS Detachment East Norfolk, Virginia, as a TACAN and RADAR instructor, three years at the Ship Repair Facility in Yokosuka, Japan, serving as a fleet support technician, and two more years at the Ship Repair Facility in Yokosuka, Japan, for as a fleet support technician.

Master Chief Fulton is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 207. His personal awards include two selections as Sailor of the Year, a Joint Forces Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards) and the Good Conduct Medal (six awards). He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology and Management from Excelsior College.
