Command Senior Chief Jason R. Morris, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, enlisted in the United States Navy on October 19, 2002.
He attended Master at Arms “A” school in San Antonio, Texas, and his first duty assignment was with Naval Support Activity Bahrain. Follow on duty stations include Mobile Security Squadron Seven (MSS-7 Guam), Navy Recruiting District St. Louis, Naval Air Station Sigonella (Sicily, Italy), USS Ross (DDG-71) (Rota Spain),and Naval Technical Training Center Lackland Master at Arms “A” School (San Antonio, Texas).
His academic achievements include an Associates in Applied Science & Technology from Central Texas College, Bachelor of Science from Trident University, graduation from the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy class 207 (Purple), and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat course.
His personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal (five awards), and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
He was selected to the Command Senior Chief Program in 2017 and now serves as the senior enlisted leader at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility Detachment Everett.
