David Hulse

Deputy Director

Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center

Mr. David Hulse is assigned as Deputy Director of Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC).  His previous assignment was Deputy Force Maintenance Officer (N43A) for Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Atlantic (CNSL) in Norfolk, Virginia.  

Mr. Hulse graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, and was commissioned through the Naval Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program in May 1982.  His service as a nuclear-trained Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy was highlighted by tours aboard eight ships, including command of USS O’KANE (DDG 77) and USS BATAAN (LHD 5), Reactor Officer aboard USS HARRY S TRUMAN (CVN 75), and deployed operations that included combat, expeditionary, and relief operations.  He retired from active duty in 2011 after completing his final assignment as Force Nuclear Propulsion Officer at Commander, Naval Air Forces, Atlantic.  

Mr. Hulse graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School in December 1989 with a Master of Arts in National Security Affairs, and attended the Royal Australian Naval Staff College in Sydney, Australia and the Armed Forces Staff College.
