Bath Iron Works Shipyard, Bath, Maine - Rear Adm. Tom Anderson, Program Executive Officer, Ships, reviews the Firearms Training System (FATS), a new simulated use of force option that Sailors can use to fulfill their weapons qualifications training. FATS allows Sailors assigned to Pre-Commissioning Units located at Bath Iron Works Shipyard, Bath, Maine a full experience in use of force option handling and application in a classroom environment. This enhances their capabilities and saves the government money on travel, range time and ordnance.
