Command Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles
Our Mission: NAVSEA’s waterfront advocate for all aircraft carrier and submarine shipbuilding, overhaul and repair contracts with Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, Newport News (NGSB-NN) to include oversight of technical, quality, cost and schedules for all in-yard and off-yard projects.
Our Vision: We will work collaboratively with NGSB-NN to provide our nation’s Fleet with quality, on-time products at a fair cost while continuing to learn and improve projects and processes every day.
