 MWR has two state-of-the-art facilities
Portsmouth Naval Shipyard has two new recreation centers in "Liberty Port" and "Relief Valve." The state-of-the-art facilities offer Sailors and civilians an array of high tech entertainment including computer stations with high-speed internet and a commercial printer, popular and advanced video game stations, a theater with a large hi-definition flat screen television, reading room, and an information center where civilians and Sailors can purchase tickets for sporting events, concerts, theme parks, ski resorts and other attractions.

Non-Resident Vehicle Registration - State of Maine
To register in the State of Maine as a non-resident, active duty military member, you will need to submit a completed MV-7 Affidavit form or Non-resident Military Affidavit. The affidavit must be signed by your commanding officer or a representative of the legal office. This form must be notarized. In order to claim the excise tax exemption you must be stationed in the State of Maine when registering your vehicle. The MV-7 Affidavit can be downloaded from the BMV website's forms page at: Download the MV-7 Affidavit.
Rapid Renewal - As of May 21st, active duty non-residents, stationed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, can renew their Maine registration certificate online at http://www.maine.gov/sos/online_services/. For more information view the New Registration; Non-resident Military Personnel Instruction Sheet (provided by the State of Maine).
