The Division Commander has appointed a Small Business
Advocate to advise small business relative to possible contracting opportunities
at the Division. The advocate also advises Contracting Officers relative to
potential small business sources for new contractual requirements. It is the
objective of the Small Business Advocacy Program to seek out small businesses
with the necessary qualifications and to match them to appropriate Division
contracting opportunities. It is a "win/win" situation when we are able to
obtain the best technology or services available at the best cost utilizing the
maximum number of small businesses.
