Welcome to Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center. As the Commander, I am extremely proud to be associated with the dedicated workforce of military and civilian personnel focused on the safe and effective operation and maintenance of combat and weapons systems used on United States Navy and Coast Guard ships.
As part of the Naval Sea Systems Command, the personnel of Port Hueneme Division have been supporting the U.S. Navy since 1963. The efforts of our employees and their predecessors were vital in developing the systems and supporting the naval forces used as a deterrent during the Cold War, in support of national policy.
Today we are equally engaged in Homeland Security and National Defense through support of the Global War on Terrorism. Our employees are diligently preparing the ships and Sailors called to go in harm’s way. We ensure our forces have the most advanced and most reliable combat systems available when taking the fight to the enemy and defending the security of our country.
Our workforce of engineers, logisticians, scientists, computer specialists, and administrative personnel cover the globe in responding to the needs of Sailors at sea. Fleet Support is Our Heritage and has been for over 45 years. Whether supporting current systems or the installation of advanced technologies, we are committed to Keeping America’s Navy #1 in the World.
