Meetings and Vendor Deliveries
If you are attending a meeting on base, or you are making a delivery, your NAVSEA Port Hueneme Point of Contact (POC) must notify NBVC Badge and Pass Office of your arrival. One-day meeting visits require telephone notification only. Written notification by the POC is required for visits longer than one-day, and for vendor deliveries. Other personnel visiting NAVSEA Port Hueneme with proper identification (military IDs, NAVSEA badges, NAVSEA Port Hueneme visitor badge) will not be required to obtain a vehicle pass, if they show the guard a proper rental car agreement. Visitors driving vehicles other than rental cars will be required to obtain a vehicle pass at the NBVC Badge and Pass Office.
Contractor Badges
Contractor personnel working on contracts awarded after 1 October 1998 may need badges. CORs must ensure that the Extended Entry ID Badge Request and Visit Requests from the Contractor facility are sent to the NBVC Badge and Pass Office. If NBVC does not have the Extended Entry ID Badge Request and Visit Request in place, a temporary visitor badge will be issued to the Contractor. Contractors will be issued badges for up to one year based on the Visit Request received from the Contractor facility.
Lost Badges
NAVSEA Port Hueneme employees and contractors who lose their badges will be required to report to NBVC Badge and Pass office, and will be issued a temporary badge for two weeks. After the two weeks and if your badge has not been recovered, a new permanent NAVSEA Port Hueneme badge will be issued.
