Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dam NeckWe are a recognized leader for Integrated Training Capabilities for Maritime, Joint, Coalition, Interagency and Inter-Service domains. CDSA Dam Neck is poised to meet this goal as we currently provide key leadership and products for: The Joint National Training Center (JNTC) located in Suffolk, VA.; The Joint Knowledge Development and Distribution Capability (JKDDC); and The Maritime Integrated Training Capabilities Lab Complex at Dam Neck, Va, which delivers Battle Force Tactical and Total Ship Training Systems to the Fleet.

We are a recognized enabler of Force Integration & Interoperability taskings for the Maritime, Joint, and Coalition Warfighter. We achieve this Desired Outcome with strategically located capabilities. The Multi-functional Land Based Test Site (LBTS) and Joint Test and Training Facility (JTTF) are just two assets within our Integration and Interoperability Lab Complex that enable us to serve the Fleet and the Warfighters from the Hampton Roads area while collaborating with other Department of Defense commands, organizations, or agencies.

We are recognized as engineering experts for the acquisition and delivery of modern Integrated Combat Control Systems. CDSA Dam Neck's engineers are known experts who deliver capabilities to multiple Ship Classes within the Navy’s Surface Fleet.  Our domain knowledge is leveraged daily for Advanced Sensor Distribution Systems (ASDS) and Ship's Self Defense System (SSDS) MK II, Combat Systems Integration and the Carrier Modernization Program allowing us to consistently focus on the needs of the Warfighter.     

We are a recognized provider in the modernization of Information Operations and rapid response engineering focused on Global Maritime Security Operations. Our talented, innovative engineers collaborate within the NAVSEA and other DoD commands to deliver the right capabilities at the right cost to our Warfighters who need specialized tools to complete unique missions everyday. CDSA Dam Neck engineers earned the Naval Sea Systems Command 2005 Engineer Team of the Year Award for the creation of the Integrated Tactical Mobility System (ITMS), which is a perfect example of how CDSA Dam Neck meets this Desired Outcome.
