Submitting Visit Requests
At least seven days prior to your planned visit submit JPAS visit request via SMO code N455346, fax and or mail a copy of the security clearance request (OPNAV 5521/27) . On the request you must include your Point of contact, purpose of visit and length of visit. On the day of the visit report to Building N-127, NASA Reception Center, to pick up visitor badge and/or meet your point of contact. If you do not have a clearance you are required to be escorted by a cleared person.

Driving Directions

Directions from the North (DC area): Take U.S. Rte 50 East to Salisbury, MD. From Salisbury take U.S. Rte 13 South about 40 miles. Cross the Maryland/Virginia line and turn left approximately 4 miles on to Rte. 175 towards Chincoteague. Travel on 175 approximately 5 miles to your first stop light. Take a left at the light on to Atlantic Rd. Travel approximately ¼ mile and the Navy gate will be on your right.

Directions from the South (Norfolk): Cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and travel North on U.S. Rte 13 approximately 75 miles. Turn right on to Rte. 175 towards Chincoteague. Travel on 175 approximately 5 miles to your first stop light. Take a left at the light on to Atlantic Rd. Travel approximately ¼ mile and the Navy gate will be on your right.
