Office of the Director of Ocean Engineering, Supervisor of Salvage and Diving (SEA00C) manages all aspects of ocean engineering, including salvage, in-water ship repair, contracting, towing, diving safety, and equipment maintenance and procurement.  The salvage and diving engineers of SUPSALV provide technical and operations assistance to the Navy, U.S. Federal agencies and foreign governments.  The SUPSALV team has extensive expertise in naval architecture, salvage operations and procedures, diving, towing, pollution abatements and a thorough knowledge of the capability and practices of the commercial salvage industry. Visit the SUPSALV Web site...

Corporate Communications Office (SEA00D) handles all strategic communication for NAVSEA and the affiliated Program Executive Offices – including Freedom of Information Act requests, congressional affairs and public affairs.

Chief Information Office (SEA00I) is responsible for information technology systems for the command and serves as the commander's technology advisor and solution provider for information management, information technology, IT security systems, and information resources management.

Office of Counsel (SEA00L), with over 100 attorneys located at headquarters and field offices, provides well-reasoned and candid advice, vigorous advocacy, and innovative solutions to help NAVSEA fulfill its mission.  NAVSEA attorneys are called upon to provide advice on complex issues within the command – ranging from litigation, to supporting major ship and systems acquisitions, to advising on environmental, civilian personnel and intellectual property matters. 

Office of the Inspector General (SEA00N) conducts independent and objective inspections, investigations and reviews and executes external audit liaison and follow-up activities.  SEA00N also implements the Management Control Program and Command Evaluation and Review Program to promote NAVSEA’s efficiency, effectiveness, integrity and readiness.

Office of Security Programs and Continuity Planning  (SEA00P) establishes, administers, oversees, implements and evaluates the policies, processes and procedures required for the effective management of NAVSEA security and continuity planning programs.  SEA 00P is composed of six divisions responsible for such areas as: Antiterrorism/Force Protection, Research and Technology Protection, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Access Control, Communications Security, Information Security, Industrial Security, Foreign Disclosure, Exports, Ship Transfers, Operations Security, Non-Strategic Treaty Compliance, Counterintelligence, Critical Infrastructure Protection and Continuity of Operations Planning.
