COVID-19 and hurricanes defeated, live ANTX event prevails

Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) recently collaborated with Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command in coordination with the Naval Oceanographic Office’s Fleet Survey Team, and Klein Marine to conduct a live Advanced Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX) event at NSWC PCD. Navy ships, similar to the one pictured may get some help with corrosion issues. NSWC PHD’s Lead Materials Engineer Armen Kvryan along with PHD’s Fathomwerx Lab, Matter Labs and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division are hosting a Rust-A-Thon competition to help find coatings that can mitigate and control corrosion on Navy ships.
