Carderock Researchers Contribute to Book on Ship Stability

NSWC Crane wins statewide “Employer of the Year” award for innovative internship program

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) was recognized as Employer of the Year for creating a quality internship program within the Hoosier State. NSWC Crane received this award in the nonprofit category at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Indiana INTERNnet 2019 IMPACT Awards in Carmel, Indiana on February 26, 2019.

AN/AQS-20C Sonar System Completes Developmental Testing

The AN/AQS-20C towed mine-hunting sonar is streamed into Gulf of Mexico waters of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Florida. Gulf test range. Developmental Testing was completed on Feb. 12, 2019. The testing marks completion of incorporating the Charlie variant sonar sensor modernization.

Malouin’s achievement makes him a part of a small group of investigators across the Naval Sea Systems Command enterprise to obtain the distinction.
