(Nov. 30, 2020) – In observance of National American Indian and Alaskan Native Heritage Month, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) invited Chief Robert Gray (pictured) of the Pamunkey Indian Tribe to be the keynote speaker for the heritage event. During the observance commemoration, Gray conveyed a wealth of historical knowledge and a talent for storytelling. “We are grateful today to Chief Gray for his leadership and insights into the dynamic Pamunkey Indian Tribe,” said NSWCDD Commanding Officer Capt. Casey Plew.

IMAGE: DAHLGREN, Va. – Duanna ‘Kimberly’ Tanner – keynote speaker at the 2020 Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division virtual Veterans Day Observance – encouraged veterans, government employees and contractors tuning in via Teams to rebrand themselves while transitioning throughout their careers. “We’re entitled to modify our personal branding to support the current environment that we live in,” said Tanner, a Marine Corps veteran and Marine Corps Systems Command project manager, at the Nov. 12 event.
