Washington, DC - WASHINGTON (January 8, 2018) Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Commander Vice Adm. Tom Moore pins Capt. Huan Nguyen, deputy chief information officer, NAVSEA; with an Engineering Duty Officer (EDO) qualification insignia as recently pinned Rear Adm. Ronald Fritzemeier, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) chief engineer; and soon to be pinned Capt. Mark Mclean, principal acquisition program manager with Acquisition and Finance, Program Executive Office Littoral Combat Ships, watch Jan. 8, 2018 at the Washington Navy Yard. The EDO insignia is the Navy’s latest qualification pin that signifies the wearer has achieved a high level of proficiency in their warfare community.
