MR. CHRISTOPHER J. YESALUSKY

Mr. Christopher J. Yesalusky serves as interim Executive Director of Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC), headquartered in Naples, Italy with detachments in Rota, Spain and Manama, Bahrain.  In 2009, he received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. Upon graduation, Mr. Yesalusky served as a design engineer in private industry.

Mr. Yesalusky entered Federal service in 2013 joining Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) as a Project Support Engineer (PSE). Quickly advancing at MARMC, he then served as an electrical engineer and eventually entered leadership as the Deck Machinery Branch Head in August 2017.

Mr. Yesalusky joined Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Centers (CNRMC) in August 2019 where he served as the program manager for Total Ship Readiness Assessments (TSRA). In this role, he engaged with all regional maintenance centers as well as both fleet type commanders, Naval Sea Systems Command and other stakeholders to improve the TSRA program across the fleet.

In February 2021, Mr. Yesalusky returned to MARMC as the division director for Main Propulsion and Electrical Distribution, running a team of more than 100 personnel, supporting the maintenance and modernization of all surface ships homeported in Norfolk, Va. In addition to leading his team, he also spearheaded recruitment for MARMC’s engineering department working to fill critical vacancies.

Most recently in July 2022, Mr. Yesalusky was selected for a temporary promotion to serve as interim Executive Director at FDRMC.
