NEWPORT, RI - Stefan Pryor, R.I. Secretary of Commerce, addresses U.S. Navy leaders, industry participants, and employees of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, during the Advanced Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX) held Aug. 15-16, 2017 at the Narragansett Bay Test Facility. ANTX is an annual event designed to test new technology with academic, industry and Navy participants.

NEWPORT, RI - Power Docks showcases its Autonomous Floating Micro-Grid Platform, demonstrating its air, sea, and underwater (C3) capabilities for defense applications and homeland security during 2017’s Advanced Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX), held Aug. 15-16 at Narragansett Bay Test Facility.

NEWPORT, RI - Participants from General Dynamics Mission Systems showcase the Remote Environment Monitoring Units, or REMUS, at ANTX 2017 held Aug. 15-16 at the Narragansett Bay Test Facility. The theme of this year's ANTX was Battlespace Preparation in a Contested Environment.

NEWPORT, RI - NUWC Division Newport, one of two divisions of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, is the Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support center for submarine warfare systems and many other systems associated with the undersea battlespace.

NEWPORT, RI – The Engineering and Diving Support Unit is a high-functioning team of engineers and technicians from various departments at Division Newport who are qualified U.S. Navy divers and can support technical waterborne work as a collateral duty.

NEWPORT, RI – Virtual Worlds is an in-depth training program for the Navy that provides excellent fleet training in a virtual setting, at a significantly lower cost to the Department of Defense.
