TRAINING

NSWC Corona personnel have a discussion on upcoming events during a meeting

NSWC Corona Leadership is committed to developing all employees.  As such, our local Training Office is proud to offer a wide variety of training and developmental opportunities.

On-site classes are provided in a range of subjects, including Acquisition and Logistics, Budget and Finance, Program and Project Management, Personal and Professional development, Information Technology, and Technical, Scientific and Engineering topics to ensure that every employee can find training opportunities that pique their interest and advance their career goals.

Please coordinate your requirements in advance; so that we can determine which procurement method will best suit the situation: Simplified Acquisition Process, Training Bankcard (which has limited use now), funding document, or other. Offsite courses require an SF182 with appropriate signatures and as always, the proper charge code.

Off-site opportunities for conference attendance and short course training classes are also offered, in addition to a range of Academics and Leadership courses.  The Training Office provides support for NSWC Corona employees in achieving and maintaining DAWIA certification, cultivating mentoring relationships, Individual Development Plan (IDP), and staying up-to-date with mandatory training.
