Mission:  To serve as TRFB’s primary customer interface, providing the framework and expertise in the command’s Business and Strategic Planning and Maintenance Management.

what we do

Department Head

  • Provide management oversight for command Business and Strategic Planning and Maintenance Management pertaining to:
    • Business Planning Information
    • Ohio-class submarines maintenance management programs
  • Maintain relationship with all PSNS&IMF departments and external organizations for all business and technical aspects of regional maintenance, availability planning and work control processes

 

PACFLT SSBN Maintenance Availability Scheduling

  • Maintain relationship with all PSNS&IMF departments and external organizations for all business and technical aspects of regional maintenance, availability planning and work control processes

 

Business and Strategic Planning

  • Perform short and long range workload forecasting
  • Establish and maintain current and realistic execution plans for resource requirements
  • Manage Command Business Planning Information
  • Perform direct labor and non-labor financial progress reporting and statistical analysis to support command financial metrics
  • Prepare the POM, budget apportionment, and mid-year review. Prepare reclaims to decisions by higher headquarters that affect the command's financial position
  • Review, coordinate, and monitor all reimbursable funding documents received and accepted for TRFB accomplishment

 

Refit Management

  • Manage all aspects of development, execution, and assessment of the Trident Maintenance Plan
  • Perform life-cycle planned maintenance scheduling for Ohio class submarines
  • Perform refit management function, including identification and development of short and long-range maintenance requirements; chairing A-60 (pre-call down meeting); and provide workload status for A-40 (work definition meeting)
  • Assist the Repair Officer in development of the D&A Report.
  • Serve as the LDS data base manager providing functional analysis support for maintenance and supply systems

 

Operations and Programs

  • Execute configuration management
  • Manage the TRIPER Program at TRFB for all PACFLT SSBN and SSGN submarines
  • Maintain Logistics Support functions for Ohio class submarines
  • Serve as the command's point of contact for Terminal Area Security Officer (TASO) services
