The Navy MWR Bahrain plans a year-round calendar of fun events occurring on base for you and your family’s entertainment. Club 261 hosts events like various themed Music Nights (Country/Throwback/Hip Hop/etc.) and Karaoke Night. MWR plans ping pong tournaments, bingo, and trips off base for a variety of sightseeing tours. See After Work – Off Base for more information about these tours.
Movie Theaters
Take 1 and Take 2 theater offer many of the latest releases and all at a price reminiscent of years gone by, including popcorn and other snacks. The MWR Cinema Ticket Booth opens one hour prior to the first showing of the day. There are options for 3-D movies, as well as regular ones. Bowling Center
Great for leisure bowling as well as a place to host parties. Featuring four fully automated lanes for everyone from beginner to serious bowler, complete with shoe rental and snack bar. Club 261
NSA Bahrain’s all-hands club with darts, pool tables, 60” televisions, and Friday karaoke.
CPO Club
The Chief’s Club with an outside patio, darts, pool table, table shuffleboard, and jukebox.

Unwind at the O’Pub with good spirits, cold beer, and friendly atmosphere.
Entertainment and Special Events
Entertainment and Special Events at NSA Bahrain has programs that are not only entertaining but also extremely creative. From Nightmare on Spine Street, our annual trick-or-treating event, to St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and the Holiday Tree Lighting, we always have something for the entire community. We work directly with Navy Entertainment, Armed Forces Entertainment, and the USO to provide quality, live entertainment on base. NSA Bahrain hosts more entertainers annually than any other base in the Military. With state-of-the-art sound equipment and lighting combined with top-notch MWR Entertainment Production staff, our entertainers and audience members feel like they are at a stadium show.
